"My favorite part of the game, is the opportunity to play"
-Mike Singletary

Our Story

IMG_0912.JPG

As a young father, and coach in 2016 I had just finished up another day of practice with my freshmen football team. As I was driving some of the kids home, I couldn't help but notice the rundown neighborhoods and dilapidated homes they lived in. I dropped off one of my players, and couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt as I drove away. I knew that he came from a low-income family, and I could only imagine how hard it must be for him to afford the basic necessities, let alone the expensive equipment required for the sport. I also knew how much this team meant to that young man, and what a shame it would be if he didn't have this opportunity to keep him in a close group of good friends and allies.  It was then that I decided that I wanted to do something to help. I wanted a charity that would provide financial assistance to families like this young mans, so that their children could have the same opportunities to participate in sports as other kids.
